Legoland is built on the grounds of the former Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida, and is minutes away from the other theme parks of the Orlando area. It is the second largest Legoland, second only to the one in the UK. There are 45 rides and attractions, shops, restaurants, botanical gardens, water park and a new hotel opened last year. There are various themed areas that all correspond with Lego products and kits.
In Lego Kingdoms there is simulated jousting and a dragon roller coaster. Duplo Village is all about the Duplos and cars and trucks. Fun Town has a Lego factory tour that shows how each Lego brick is made from start to finish. Imagination Zone allows interactive building and design by children to construct towers, test cars and make robots.
Land of Adventure has a wooden roller coaster called Coastersaurus and a junior drop tower, Beetle Bounce.
In Lego City children can take driving courses, captain their own boats, play rescue in a simulated fire and soar at the Flying School on the Vekoma, a family suspended roller coaster.
